CuSTOM Scientists Grow Human Esophagus Tissue

Dr. Jim Wells and other CuSTOM scientists at Cincinnati Children’s work to bioengineer the entire human gastrointestinal system in a laboratory. Published October 4, 2018 in the Journal Cell Stem Cell, they now report using pluripotent stem cells to grow human esophageal organoids.
